The Tyrnos and Tyrnos II (2-speed) are Shimano's fast lever drag reels, featuring large gears and extended handles for better torque. The larger 2-Speed models are ideal for deep-sea fishing, able to pull leads up to 115cm per handle turn and transform into powerful cranking machines for tackling large fish like conger and sharks. For lighter fishing activities like jigging or freshwater trolling, smaller single-speed versions are available, also fast and durable. 

The Tyrnos is built to withstand saltwater, with a strong aluminum frame, anti-rust bearings, and large stainless steel gears. The 2-Speed models offer smooth gear transitions, loud clickers, and an adjustable ratchet lever drag for fine-tuning resistance.
