This was a special project for us as we wanted to capture the nostalgia of yesteryear fibreglass rods and make it highly portable too. We looked for the most suitable modern day fibreglass that would have the same classic action and feel, minus the heavy weight. After many prototype samples, we came up with the most suitable hollow fibreglass blanks that is extremely durable, yet lighter in weight than solid fibreglass rods. For a highly durable joint system with a smooth rod curve bend, we incorporated solid fibreglass spigot joints to the hollow fibreglass blanks. With this joint system and regular action you will be able to cast lures easily and further than classic fibreglass rods.
Cosmetics are truly retro classic looking with an amber blank, white decals and light blue bindings which immediately transports you to the era of fibreglass rods.
Available in spin and over head versions, we fitted each rod with all Fuji guides and classic wooden reel seats. Each rod comes with a fitted 4 piece rod bag. Make no mistake, this ML rated rod can take a brutal punishment from a big fish!
